Broiled Monte Cristo

Broiled Monte Cristo
16 Slices of Bacon
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
12 slices of Italian Bread, from the bakery
8 slices of deli Black Forest Ham
8 slices of deli Turkey Breast
8 slices deli Swiss Cheese
8 slices deli Cheddar Cheese
Dijon mustard
Grainy mustard
Mayonnaise (optional)
Butter
Salt and Pepper, to taste

Turn your oven on to broil. Cook your 16 slices of bacon. Drain and sit aside. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Soak the bread in the egg mixture and cook until golden on a preheated buttered griddle. Place 4 pieces of your toasted bread on a baking sheet. This is a layering process, so on all 4 pieces of bread you will do the following. Spread Dijon Mustard on the bread. Next you will put on the Swiss, Ham, Turkey, 2 pieces of Bacon, and Cheddar Cheese  in that order. Next you will place another slice of toast. Spread on your grainy mustard and layer again the same as you did above. Before your put on your last piece of toast spread either another layer of Dijon or a thin layer of Mayonnaise on the toast and place on top of your sandwich.

Now you will broil the sandwiches for about 2 minutes or until the cheese is nice and bubbly!
